Dance HQ’s team of dedicated tutors are back together again to bring you a full timetable of classes packed with old favourites and brand new styles.

From high energy, high impact dance classes like MTV, Hip Hop and Dancing in the Dark to get your blood pumping, to classic dance styles such as Ballet & Tap guaranteed to improve your technique.

For those of you looking to reconnect body & mind we have classes in Contemporary and Barre & Stretch, which will leave you feeling like you’re walking on air.

We’re keeping you safe in the studio by reducing class sizes, enhancing our cleaning methods and keeping a safe distance.

BARRE & STRETCH

Barre & Stretch is a ballet-based fitness class devised to improve muscle tone, posture, turnout & flexibility.

Walk out feeling a million dollars and inches taller.

BACK TO BALLET

A gentle (re)introduction to Ballet suitable for Beginners to Intermediate dancers.

Participants will be able to develop knowledge and skills in class with an aim to improve strength, technique, flexibility and co-ordination all under the guidance of a professional dancer and teacher.

CONTEMPORARY

This dynamic class is influenced by Cunningham and Graham technique, and focuses on building core strength, stamina, flexibility and coordination.

Class begins with technical exercises which build up to high energy phrases at the end, followed by a dynamic stretch and cool down to finish.

For those of you wishing to attend a fun class which will leave you feeling energised and worked out, this is the class for you!

MORNING TAP

Master the basics of tap or give yourself a quick refresher course in shuffles, beats, taps, digs, cramp rolls and timesteps.

Don’t worry if all that seems like a foreign language – it’s much easier than you think. And you don’t even need Tap shoes to begin with, any hard-soled shoe will be fine.

Unleash your inner Sasha Fierce with our vibrant, fresh choreography each week.

DANCING IN THE DARK

Grab your glowsticks and get ready to dance away those lockdown love-handles!

Brand new for 2020, Dancing in the Dark is a dance fitness class with a difference – in the dark, no-one can see you sweat!

Packed with dance floor fillers to get those endorphines rushing, this class also includes strengthening and toning exercises in an easy-to-follow format.
